This $10 million fund is set to help local groups and organisations in areas closest to construction including Balwyn North, Box Hill North, Bulleen, Bundoora, Doncaster, Greensborough, Heidelberg, Kew East, Macleod, Mont Albert North, Rosanna, Templestowe Lower, Viewbank, Watsonia, Yallambie during construction of the North East Link.

Grants of up to $75,000 are available for projects and initiatives that benefit the local community, ranging from art exhibitions, sports club open days and community centre upgrades, while partnerships of up to $100,000 are also available.
