The KooyongKoot Alliance has received $94,130 from the Victorian Government’s Green Links grants program to:

Support habitat enhancement works such as weeding and revegetation, and

Boost biodiversity by creating more wildlife corridors in densely populated urban areas.

The project is also supported with $100,200 worth of in-kind materials and voluntary hours from KooyongKoot Alliance committee and its members, staff from the Whitehorse City Council and other project partners including Urban Guerrillas , Friends of Gardiners Creek and Deakin University.

The Alliance comprises over 20 Friends Groups and advocates for the Gardiners Creek (KooyongKoot) Catchment, all working together to improve the creek and its multiple values.
