The Victorian Budget has delivered $1.25 million for much-needed upgrades to Canterbury Sports Ground.

When a community comes together to get something done, great things happen. This was truly a community-led campaign.

Hundreds of locals and club members signed the petition arranged by John Kennedy MP to see this day become a reality.

A huge thank you to John, as well as local residents, Peter Jago, BJ Lashbrook, Michael Angwin and the Minister for Community Sport Ros Spence MP for their huge support.

This investment builds upon the $2.2 million investment from City of Boroondara to deliver a rebuild of the current club rooms, build appropriate bathrooms and changing room facilities for men and women, create appropriate sheltering for spectators and will elevate the base clubs rooms to improve spectators visibility.
