The Victorian Budget has committed $400,000 for upgrades to Hagenauer Reserve, including to their terracing, shading, lighting and access.
Hagenauer Reserve is much loved by locals and athletes from right across Australia.
In 2021 it was voted “Australia’s most popular running track”, amassing over 15,000 votes in a poll nationwide.
This is fantastic news - but there is more to be done.
As a Council owned facility we are seeking Whitehorse City Council’s support with a matching funding contribution to deliver needed improvements in full.
